Review by Mark Bowlin

The Music Of Miklos Rozsa Digital Premiere Recordings is a stunning album that features the immensely talented Miklos Rozsa, Elmer Bernstein, and The Utah Symphony Orchestra. The album is a must-have for any classical music lover, as it showcases some of the most beautiful and memorable compositions of Rozsa's career.

The album starts off with the hauntingly beautiful "Spellbound Concerto," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The orchestra's performance is flawless, and the recording quality is top-notch, making it easy to appreciate the intricate details of each piece.

The album also includes some of Rozsa's most famous works, such as "Ben-Hur" and "Quo Vadis," which are performed with great passion and precision by The Utah Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra's rendition of "Ben-Hur" is particularly impressive, as it captures the grandeur and epic scale of the film.

Elmer Bernstein's contribution to the album is also noteworthy, as he conducts a stunning performance of Rozsa's "El Cid" overture. Bernstein's interpretation of the piece is both powerful and nuanced, and he brings out the best in the orchestra.
